Job Description :
As a pivotal leader in our cybersecurity initiatives the Senior Scrum Master / Product Owner will facilitate and guide the development of critical security products. This role combines the rigorous task management of a Scrum Master with the strategic vision of a Product Owner tailored towards enhancing our cybersecurity posture.
Key Responsibilities :
Sprint Planning and Management : Facilitate sprint planning reviews retrospectives and daily standups to ensure clarity and productivity among the team.
Backlog Management : Prioritize and maintain the product backlog focusing on critical cybersecurity enhancements and ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
Stakeholder Communication : Act as a bridge between cybersecurity teams and other stakeholders ensuring requirements are clearly understood and met.
Risk Management : Proactively identify and address cybersecurity risks associated with product development.
Performance Metrics : Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the scrum process and product impact on cybersecurity posture.
Performance Indicators :
Sprint Success Rate : Measured by the percentage of sprints successfully meeting planned objectives.
Backlog Health : Regular assessment of backlog items to ensure they are relevant prioritized and estimated accurately.
Stakeholder Satisfaction : Measured through regular feedback loops with project stakeholders.
Risk Mitigation Effectiveness : Frequency and impact of cybersecurity risks pre and postmitigation efforts.
Qualifications :
A bachelor degree in computer science or related field.
10 year experience as a scrum master / product owner within the cyber security domain.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Certified Product Owner (CPO) or equivalent.
Excellent communication leadership and problemsolving skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
