Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled program manager with strong expertise in budget management (CAPEX/OPEX) and extensive experience in the retail domain. The ideal candidate will excel in managing large-scale programs, effectively communicating with cross-functional teams, and driving strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals. The role requires proficiency in creating program management metrics, dashboards, and presentations using advanced tools like Excel, combined with strong leadership and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Management Expertise: Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of multiple complex programs to ensure the achievement of defined objectives within time, budget, and quality standards.
- Budget Management: Oversee and manage program budgets with a focus on Capex and Opex allocation, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Performance Metrics & Reporting: Design and develop comprehensive program management metrics and dashboards to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and highlight achievements.
- Executive-Level Communication: Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations for senior leadership, incorporating data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment across all program phases.
- Project Management Processes: Apply standard project management methodologies to manage risks, mitigate issues, and ensure cost-efficiency across all activities.
- Retail Domain Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of the retail industry to drive programs that address key business challenges and opportunities.
- Costing and Development Lifecycle: Implement best practices for costing, resource management, and development lifecycle to ensure streamlined delivery of program milestones.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 5 7 years of experience in program management, with exposure to budget management (Capex/Opex) in complex projects.
- Proven track record of successful program delivery in the retail domain.
Technical Proficiency
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, including macros, pivot tables, and advanced charting for creating executive dashboards.
- Proficiency in project management tools like MS Project, JIRA, or Asana.
- Familiarity with tools and frameworks for program reporting and costing analysis.
