Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior SQL Server & MSBI Developer with over 10 years of hands-on experience in SQL Server, MSBI (SSIS/SSAS), and Power BI. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in writing complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers, along with experience in performance tuning and developing enterprise reporting solutions. Experience in MongoDB is a plus, and strong communication skills are required for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- SQL Server Development:
Write complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers for database applications and business intelligence reporting.
Handle common database procedures such as upgrade, backup, recovery, and migration. - Performance Tuning & Automation:
Expertise in performance tuning, database activity automation, and optimizing SQL queries for large-scale systems.
Provide recommendations for improvements and implement performance enhancements. - Database Configuration & Management:
Install and configure SQL Server in a server environment, ensuring optimal database performance and uptime.
Manage and maintain SQL Server databases, ensuring data integrity and security. - MSBI Development:
Over 4 years of hands-on experience in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Develop, deploy, and maintain SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services) solutions. - Power BI Development:
Develop Power BI models and dashboards, transforming business data into actionable insights.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure data visualizations align with business needs. - Cross-Platform Integration:
Experience in working with MSSQL and MongoDB for data storage and retrieval, ensuring seamless integration between platforms.
Required Skills and Experience
- 10 years of experience in SQL Server and MSBI (SSIS/SSAS) development
- Expertise in writing complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers
- Strong experience in performance tuning, database activity automation, and enterprise reporting solutions
- 4 years of hands-on experience with SSIS
- Experience with Power BI for developing reports and dashboards
- Familiarity with MSSQL and MongoDB
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement and collaboration
