Business Analyst Role
We are seeking a Business Analyst with experience in Oracle Fusion HCM to support HR and payroll teams by assessing system configurations, identifying process improvements, and driving issue resolution. This role will act as the liaison between HR, payroll, and technical teams, ensuring that system functionalities align with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for HR and payroll teams, gathering feedback on system issues and areas for improvement.
- Review system configurations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and business processes to identify optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with technical teams and external implementers to validate configurations and troubleshoot system issues.
- Analyze requirements and document functional specifications for system enhancements, bug fixes, and process improvements.
- Support Redwood UI transition, ensuring smooth adoption of the updated user interface.
- Oversight of testing efforts, working with implementers to conduct initial system tests and guiding HR/payroll users through user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Lead change management initiatives, including training, communication plans, and stakeholder alignment to ensure successful system adoption.
- Coordinate with IT and vendors to ensure timely resolutions of system defects or configuration gaps.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM.
- Strong understanding of HR and payroll processes, including system configurations and workflows.
- Experience in testing coordination and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Knowledge of Oracle Redwood UI and its impact on system usability.
- Ability to facilitate change management and drive adoption of new system functionalities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to serve as the voice of HR and payroll.
- Project management experience, with the ability to organize tasks, track progress, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle Fusion HCM implementations or upgrades.
- Familiarity with HRIS best practices and compliance requirements.
- Hands-on experience working with third-party system implementers or consultants.
- Knowledge of Agile or waterfall project methodologies.
