Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Network Operations Engineer with hands-on expertise in managing and troubleshooting complex Layer 2 and Layer 3 Data Center (DC) network infrastructures, wireless technologies, and advanced solutions such as Cisco SDWAN and SASE integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on automation, innovation, and delivering reliable network solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Infrastructure Management:
- Troubleshoot and optimize Layer 2 and Layer 3 DC network infrastructure running Spine and Leaf ACI.
- Manage and troubleshoot switch networks configured with MST, RPVST, Ether-channel, Dot1Q Trunking, and Pruning.
- SDWAN and SD-ACCESS Implementation:
- Design, deploy, and troubleshoot Cisco SDWAN
- Utilize Cisco SD-ACCESS and Catalyst Center to ensure network efficiency and security.
- Wireless Network Expertise:
- Implement and manage wireless technologies, including WLC C9800, DNAC, LWAP, 4G CradlePoint, and Wireless Bridge.
- DDI Services Management:
- Troubleshoot and optimize DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM)
- SASE Integration:
- Manage and troubleshoot Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solutions and integrate them with SDWAN.
- Security and Monitoring:
- Understand and review Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) setups and analyze firewall logs for improved security management.
- Monitor end-to-end data flows and traffic patterns using tools like Wireshark for optimization and troubleshooting.
- Innovation and Automation:
- Identify opportunities to automate routine tasks and enhance network operations with innovative solutions.
- Bring forward a creative and solution-oriented mindset to tackle complex technical challenges.
Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in troubleshooting Layer 2/Layer 3 Data Center (DC) network infrastructure with Spine and Leaf ACI.
- Proficiency in MST, RPVST, Ether-channel, Dot1Q Trunking, and Pruning
- Hands-on experience in Cisco SDWAN, Cisco SD-ACCESS, and Catalyst Center.
- Advanced knowledge of wireless technologies, including WLC C9800, DNAC, LWAP, and CradlePoint.
- Solid understanding of DDI services (DNS, DHCP, IPAM).
- Practical experience with SASE solutions and integration with SDWAN.
- Knowledge of Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) and log analysis.
- Familiarity with network traffic analysis tools like Wireshark.
