Position Summary:
As a BIM Operator, you will work under the direct supervision of a designated team lead, assisting with various tasks related to Building Information Modeling (BIM) using programs such as Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam. Your role will involve following written and verbal instructions, collaborating with team members, and providing regular updates on your assigned tasks. You'll collaborate closely with electrical contractors, architects, engineers, and construction professionals to create cutting-edge 3D models and construction documentation for a variety of projects. From expansive data centers to bustling international airports and iconic NFL stadiums, our team tackles exciting projects across the US that push the boundaries of innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
· Operate Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam under preset views.
· Set up drawings and perform sheet annotation.
· Assist in device and basic model population under close supervision.
· Complete regular training tutorials and participate in knowledge checks to ensure understanding.
· Maintain clear and concise written communication and organize tasks and emails.
· Document any issues, discrepancies, or questions that arise during task execution.
· Execute tasks independently and collaboratively within the team.
· Provide daily status updates to the team lead and seek guidance as needed.
Desired Qualifications:
· Basic understanding of Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
· Strong communication and organizational skills.
· Willingness to learn and participate in training sessions.
· Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
· A proactive approach to identifying areas for additional training.
· Ability to work independently while also excelling in collaborative team environments, utilizing your communication skills to contribute effectively.
· Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Must have legal authorization to work in U.S. without needing current or future sponsorship.
*Note that this is the entry level position for VDC Specialists and experience in Revit, Navisworks, or Bluebeam is not required, and lack thereof will not automatically disqualify you from consideration for the BIM Operator position. We will train the right candidate in programs necessary for this position*
