Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Sourcing to lead our procurement efforts for remanufactured vending equipment and parts. This role involves managing a team of buyers, developing sourcing strategies, and ensuring the procurement of high-quality materials at competitive prices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and a proven track record of successful team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes for remanufactured vending equipment and parts.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of buyers to achieve departmental goals and enhance team performance.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and sales, to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage procurement schedules to meet production demands.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all sourcing activities.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
• Proficient in data analysis and market research to inform sourcing decisions.
