What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contract position for Release Lead Location: Austin TX position at Veah Consulting Services?
Location: Austin TX
Duration: 6 Months
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in DevOps, Release Engineering, and Python scripting
- Strong understanding of Python programming language and its core concepts
- Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines
- Build and maintain low-latency service APIs and data aggregation pipelines
- Expertise in containerization platfom like Kubernetes, Docker,Flux, Helm, Git, Python, AWS, Datadog and Splunk
- Experience with tools like IaC-Terraform
- Must have experience on entire Release cycle
- Experience with Git/GitHub, GitOps, Git Branching strategies, and setting up guardrails on Git milestones and labels
- Execute release cutovers, plan, and coordinate events and activities.
- Work independently with the development team, QA team, operation team, project management team, and external teams to triage critical issues.
- Ability to communicate effectively-Self driven, have good communication skills, to take ownership on the project / deliverables
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving skills and the ability to design scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
Must have:
Python, Kubernates, Helm, Jenkins, AWS, Docker, Linux , IaC-Terraform monitoring tools (Datadog and Splunk)
