Warehouse Helper/Delivery Driver

The Vealey Group is now seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our clients team as Warehouse Worker/Plant Delivery Driver. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, where you will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the efficient handling and delivery of goods. Ideal candidates will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to perform heavy lifting, ensuring that all products are handled with care and precision.

This position is in Aurora, NC and will require a valid driver license and a clean criminal background.

Duties

• Load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring accurate handling of all items.
• Move products within the warehouse, organizing them in designated areas for easy access.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload pick up truck and make delivers throughout the plant site
• Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
• Provide excellent department service by ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members and management to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
• Lift a minimum of 50 pounds continuously throughout the day.

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safety practices is essential.
• Experience as a courier or delivery driver is a plus, particularly with pickup truck and flatbed trucks.
• Skills in customer service will enhance your ability to interact effectively with team members and departments.
• Knowledge of operating forklifts or similar equipment is advantageous but can be learned on the job.
