Job Position Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned Program Management Lead to join our team and take charge of supporting the US Coast Guard's current operations. This demanding role requires the ability to develop and execute programs, ensuring timely delivery of contractual items and adherence to contractual obligations.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional program management skills, with experience in leading high-profile projects and managing intricate operations. Additionally, they must ensure that senior-level management within the client organization remains informed about program status and potential impacts on the organization's strategic vision.
- Program development, execution, and quality control to guarantee timely delivery and adherence to contractual requirements.
- Sustained support to current operations by providing vital products that enhance operational strategies.
- Leading projects through initiation, planning, execution, and closure to meet project milestones and objectives.
- Day-to-day contract execution, potentially encompassing multiple tasks and teams dispersed across various locations.
- Maintenance of technical and financial reports to monitor project progression.
- Team leadership: Supervising junior staff and team members to ensure alignment with program objectives.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of four years of experience as a primary IMS scheduler for large-scale projects, boasting strong proficiency in Microsoft Project and IMS.
- A background in acquisitions and strategic document management for complex projects.
- Documented experience with integrated master scheduling (IMS) for multi-mission acquisition endeavors.
- Desirable: Project Management certification (e.g., PMP).
- Necessary: More than ten years of experience accompanied by a Master's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or an associated field.
