This role is crucial in ensuring our health and safety protocols are strictly adhered to across all US job sites. The ideal candidate will be an advocate for safety, drive initiatives that enhance safety culture, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures that comply with industry regulations and company standard s
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to assess compliance and identify areas for improvemen t
- Respond to and investigate safety incidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective action s
- Deliver safety training and education programs to employees at all levels, ensuring understanding and complianc e
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure safety is integrated into project planning and executio n
- Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics and report findings to senior managemen t
- Stay current with industry best practices and legislative changes, making recommendations to improve safety program s
- Act as a resource for employees regarding safety concerns and question s

- Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S), Safety Management, Construction Management or related field OR significant experience in place of degre e
- Certification from recognized certification board - Certified Safety Professional, (CSP), Certified Safety Auditor, Certified Safety Manager or similar, OHSA 500 Certified, Site Safety Manager, and/or similar industry certificate s
- 1-3 years of experience as a full-time safety coordinator or trainer in a well-structured construction safety progra m
- Strong knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations as they apply to constructio n
- Ability to recognize hazardous situations and implement effective corrective measure s
- Ability to effectively communicate expectations and hold team members accountabl e
- In-depth technical working knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, Federal, State, and local regulatory standard s
- Proven track record of improving safety performance by instituting behaviorally based safety program s
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill s
- Candidates who are English/Spanish bi-lingual may be given preferenc e
