What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Security Analyst, Senior position at Vector CSP LLC?
Job Summary:
Conduct Information Management / Systems Analysis support to provide senior Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for the NAWCAD assessment and authorization process under the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and provide validation of actions at each step utilizing enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS).
Education and Experience:
- BA/BS Degree in a Technical or Computer Science/IT Discipline. (6 years’ additional work experience or an associate’s degree plus 4 years’ additional work experience, related to the applicable labor category’s required experience, may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.)
- Over 10 years of experience
Certifications:
- IAM or IAT Level 2 certification (e.g. Security CE);
Essential Duties:
- Provide / maintain oversight of all NAWCAD authorization boundaries, and manage their entry into RMF Steps 1 and 2 in eMASS
- Aid in development of Security Assessment Plans (SAP, System-Level Continuous Monitoring Strategy (SLCM), and Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) for each package being initiated in the RMF process
- Oversee the POA&M progress to plan for RMF authorization packages, ensure all documentation is thorough and complete prior to FSCA-L action, and provide expert assessments on major milestone evaluations
- Ensure a program is in place to provide monitoring of RMF packages, provide alerts to milestones and schedule review actions, and maintain a log of communication related to systems lifecycle
- Provide administrative coordination for individual boundary managers, administrators, lab managers and Functional Authorizing Official (FAO) /Echelon II staff
- Maintain a central repository for all RMF documentation and the NAWCAD Executive Dashboard and provide continuous RMF process improvement recommendations for overall NAWCAD program
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:
- Ability to work on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and perform all functional duties independently.
- Ability to oversee efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
