Job Summary:
VectorCSP is seeking a mechanical engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse engineering professionals in Mount Laurel, NJ. The qualified candidate will provide engineering and technical support to the US Navy's AEGIS Technical Representative (AEGIS TECHREP) program with an integrated team of engineers, technologists and military veterans dedicated to providing independent quality assessments of systems critical to the defense of the United States.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 4 or more years of experience depending on education level
Essential Duties:
Support the U.S. Navy AEGIS TECHREP customer in various technical aspects involving the integration of AEGIS systems. Provide program development support; review technical specifications and related documents to ensure technical accuracy and applicability; witness and assess tests conducted by the program developer and/or other Government agencies; support test planning and execution; perform data analysis; document observed test deficiencies; and track problem resolutions.
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:
- Working knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrate the willingness and desire to further gain technical knowledge
- Possess excellent oral, written, and leadership skills and work independently.
Preferred skills:
Experience US Navy/AEGIS Combat Systems
