What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Information Systems Program Analyst position at Vector CSP?
Overview:
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) provides comprehensive and dedicated support to the Navy of research, development, test and evaluation, analysis, systems engineering, integration and certification of complex naval warfare systems and fleet support. Additional support for professional and operational support services is required as NSWCDD continues to provide the military with testing and certification by utilizing its Potomac River Test Range in Dahlgren, VA and provides fleet support at NSWCDD Dam Neck which is located in Virginia Beach, VA.
Job Summary:
Provide planning, policy & analysis for HR areas in support of day-to-day operations at NSWCDD.
Education and Experience:
- Three (3) years of experience with data entry, quality assurance, and data analysis and review. Experience shall include a variety of web-based tools, HR systems and databases, with experience performing advanced functions in Excel spreadsheet.
Essential Duties:
- Perform data input, quality assurance, data analysis and review
- Export reports and disseminate workforce information using a variety of web-based tools (e.g. SharePoint Online), HR systems and databases and Excel spreadsheets
- Provide customer assistance in areas by coordinating HR events, answering questions, appropriately referring employees for more detailed assistance, directing customers to employee benefit websites and/or telephone help desks and other related websites
- Support the NSWCDD Awards Program by updating award nomination forms and other award documents, communicating with external award sponsors, reviewing and updating awards spreadsheets, and processing awards for distribution
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:
- Detail-oriented with an ability to research situations and work independently after receiving proper instructions, with data accuracy being paramount
