What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Recruiting/Student Outreach Program Analyst position at Vector CSP?
Overview:
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) provides comprehensive and dedicated support to the Navy of research, development, test and evaluation, analysis, systems engineering, integration and certification of complex naval warfare systems and fleet support. Additional support for professional and operational support services is required as NSWCDD continues to provide the military with testing and certification by utilizing its Potomac River Test Range in Dahlgren, VA and provides fleet support at NSWCDD Dam Neck which is located in Virginia Beach, VA.
Job Summary:
Provide technical assistance in the administration and development of process improvements for the Dahlgren Division staffing, recruiting, and student programs at NSWCDD.
Education and Experience:
- Three (3) years of experience with recruiting processes and advertising for positions
- Experience should include coordination of interviews and travel arrangements, reviewing and tracking candidate's resumes and transcripts
Essential Duties:
- Provide technical assistance in the administration and development of process improvements for the Dahlgren Division staffing, recruiting, and student programs
- Maintain and use database and computer based tools to coordinate and communicate interview schedules, make travel arrangements using DTS, collect/review college transcripts, support candidate tracking, support New Employee Orientation, assist separating employees with the checkout process, and assist employees and managers with general human resource inquiries
- Support the Human Resource Office efforts through use of expertise in staffing, recruitment, and student program processes and products, including advertising and best practices
Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:
- Attention to detail
- Experience building and maintaining HR databases
- MS Word and Excel
