Vector Fleet Management is seeking a Refrigerated Trailer Reefer Mechanic to join our team in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. If you have at least two years of p roven Refrigerated Trailer Reefer Mechanic experience or have graduated from a Trade School for Mechanics , Vector Fleet Management wants to hear from you!

Requirements :

  • Must have Type 2 or Universal EPA 608 Certification
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Self-motivated and quality minded mechanic able to perform quality work in an unsupervised capacity
  • Refrigerated Trailer Reefer Mechanic should have a minimum of two years hands-on experience or a combination of trade school and hands-on experience
  • Must possess adequate hand tools required to perform routine repairs and maintenance
  • Perform preventive maintenance, diagnoses and repairs on trailer mounted, single and multi-temp reefer units
  • Use and maintain specialty tools and equipment required to perform essential job duties
  • HVAC experience is required to successfully perform job duties
  • Thermo-King and / or Carrier experience is preferred
  • Complete set of hand tools and wheeled tool box suitable for daily use
  • Acceptable driving record and pass drug test and background check
