Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate CNC machines to fabricate and assemble precision components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC programming, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with various machining techniques, including Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM). The CNC Machinist will play a crucial role in ensuring that our production processes are efficient and meet high-quality standards.
*Work schedule will be Monday-Thursday 3:30 pm - 2 am*

- Turning centers
- Lathes
- Swiss style lathes
- Mazitrol
- G Code
Duties
- Operate CNC machines, including Mazatrol systems, to produce high-quality parts.
- Program CNC machines using appropriate software and tools.
- Fabricate and assemble components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Regular maintenance of machines is conducted to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize SolidWorks to design parts and make necessary adjustments.
- Implement Lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards in machining processes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and enhance production methods.
Experience
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming techniques and practices.
- Familiarity with Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) processes is preferred.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software for part design.
- Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and practices.
- Experience with GD&T standards is highly desirable.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
