What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Vector Management?
We're seeking a part time maintenance technician on an as needed basis. Scheduling and work flow will be flexible. You will perform work orders, interact with vendors and respond to on-call emergencies.
Job Summary
Requirements:
- Experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc in apartment style units
- Knowledge of Buildium and Property Meld preferred
- Strong apartment-home maintenance skills including general plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, HVAC and diagnostic.
- Will have the necessary personal hand tool inventory to perform required tasks.
- Must be available after hours and weekends for emergency on-call scheduling.
Spanish speaking applicants are preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities, including plumbing and carpentry tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Buildium and Property Meld
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while conducting repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize and execute maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service and support as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 9 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Nights as needed
- On call
- Weekends as needed
