We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Information Security Intern to join our Information Security team. This internship provides a hands-on opportunity to learn and contribute to protecting our organization’s digital assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in cybersecurity and a basic understanding of information security concepts.
What You'll Do
- Understanding compliance documentation and requirements.
- Organizing existing documentation.
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing security systems, logs, and alerts for potential threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and report findings.
- Research emerging threats and vulnerabilities and provide recommendations to enhance security measures.
- Help develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure compliance with security best practices and standards.
- Solid understanding of AI/ML principles and algorithms.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C .
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Must be an upcoming junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Hybrid role that will require 2-3 days in our Bloomington office.
