Job Title: Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) Instructor

Responsibilities

Vector Solutions is seeking an experienced Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) Instructor to support specialized training and operational requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering JTAC instruction and training while maintaining detailed training records and progression tracking.

• Ensuring all activities comply with established requirements, schedules, and resource allocations.

• Demonstrating a high standard of expertise in JTAC instruction and qualifications, adhering to service-specific JTAC policies and guidance.

Qualifications

Security Clearance: Must hold a current Secret.

Experience:

• A minimum of two years of experience with Special Operations Forces (SOF) or two years of operational deployments as a JTAC supporting SOF.
• Comprehensive understanding of military command and control structures and the interface with other military, local, state, and federal agencies.

Skills:

• Strong communication abilities.
• Proficiency in land navigation, including using maps, compasses, and GPS to identify and locate points of interest or targets using latitude, longitude, and Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) coordinates.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be capable of lifting up to 60 pounds and performing tasks related to JTAC operations in various environments.
• Possession of a valid civilian driver’s license and eligibility for a military driver’s license for assigned vehicle operations.

Education and Certifications

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Certifications:

• Current JTAC Instructor (JTAC-I) qualification and certification within the last 48 months.
