Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate CNC machines to fabricate and assemble precision components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC programming, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with various machining techniques, including Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM). The CNC Machinist will play a crucial role in ensuring that our production processes are efficient and meet high-quality standards.
Work schedule will be Monday-Thursday 3 : 30 pm - 2 am
Ideal candidates will have knowledge of
Turning centers
Lathes
Swiss style lathes
Mazitrol
G Code
Duties
Operate CNC machines, including Mazatrol systems, to produce high-quality parts.
Program CNC machines using appropriate software and tools.
Fabricate and assemble components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Regular maintenance of machines is conducted to ensure optimal performance.
Utilize SolidWorks to design parts and make necessary adjustments.
Implement Lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards in machining processes.
Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and enhance production methods.
Experience
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of CNC programming techniques and practices.
Familiarity with Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) processes is preferred.
Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software for part design.
Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and practices.
Experience with GD&T standards is highly desirable.
Excellent mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
