A leading recycler of industrial materials is seeking a Chemical Shipping Project Manager to work closely with the Facility Manager. This role involves scheduling and directing truckloads of materials for testing, sorting, and recycling. The ideal candidate will lead a team effectively while also engaging hands-on with day-to-day operations.

1st Shift 7 : 30a-3 : 30p
Up to $26 / hr., depending upon skills and experience.
Responsibilities :
Collaborate with the Facility Manager to schedule and direct truckloads of customer materials.
Test, identify, categorize and inventory materials and chemicals
Lead and work alongside a team to ensure efficient handling of materials.
Oversee the use of forklifts, cranes, and reach trucks in material movement.
Manage the safe handling and processing of chemicals.
Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams.
Utilize computer skills, including Excel, to track operations and manage data.
Qualifications :
Experience in scheduling and directing truckloads in a logistics or recycling environment.
Proven leadership skills with a hands-on approach.
Preferred experience with forklifts, cranes, and reach trucks.
Must have experience handling chemicals; a BS in Chemistry is a plus.
Strong communication skills with vendors and team members.
Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Excel.
Reporting :
This role reports directly to the Facility Manager.
