Vector Technical has partnered with a company that produces innovative high-performance, cost-effective medical devices solutions that is looking for a Quality Parts Inspector to join their team!
This will be a temporary 2-3 month contract.
Available Shifts :
1st Shift - $20 / hr., depending upon skills
Job Purpose
Tests and inspects medical parts and instruments at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties.
May be required to perform first article inspection which include detailed documentation using customers forms. May be required to work with minimal supervision using detailed procedures forms and manuals as a guide to job performance.
In process auditing will require the review of operator and process performance working to specifications as referred to in material routings.
Must demonstrate skill in using control plans, Material routing instructions, computer print outs, Pareto charts.
Duties and Responsibilities
149; Tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics
149; Records test data, applying statistical quality control procedures.
149; Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
149; Attendance / Punctuality Is consistently at work and on time.
Requirements :
- 2 years' of experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or some related work experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Shall be required to read and interpret complex blueprints and drawings.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret
- Must be able to read prints, do basic math
- Have ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
