Job Title - Maintenance Planner

Location - Glen Burnie, Maryland

Role Type – Direct Hire, Full-time

Must-Have Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience in maintenance planning, preventive maintenance, and turnaround execution within a chemical manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing plant equipment such as pumps, piping, heat exchangers, vessels, and valves.
• Proficiency in SAP, particularly in plant maintenance and material management, with the ability to read blueprints and modify or redline drawings as needed.
• Comprehensive understanding of maintenance processes, work order systems, and planning/scheduling procedures, including the use of storeroom management tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update accurate job plans, including drawings, instructions, procedures, material, and tool lists.
• Estimate labor, material, and service requirements along with associated costs.
• Conduct pre-job review meetings with contractors to address job and safety requirements.
• Procure maintenance materials and services, track requisitions, and manage goods receipts.
• Analyze job execution against plans, comparing labor and material estimates to actuals.
• Participate in problem-solving efforts, including Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA).
• Evaluate and update inventory for new equipment and spare parts, including setup and changes.
• Act as a representative for contractors and vendors when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation

Annual salary of $75,000 - $85,000, Bonus and OT Eligible
