Vector Technical's highly successful partner is looking for INJECTION OPERATORS to join their team!
Company Overview :
Ceramics operation that supplies ceramic cores and custom blended ceramic particulate systems used in the manufacture of investment cast blades and vanes for turbine applications, including injection molded wax gates and runners.
Available Shifts :
3rd Shift : $19 / hr. $2.10 shift diff $21.10 / hr.
Position Summary :
Produce quality ceramic cores using Low Pressure Injection Machines. Prepare die, obtain slurry, and inject part according to procedure.
Place in alcohol bath for specified time, then transfer to burn-off area and burn off excess alcohol.
Essential Functions :
- Follow written procedures to manufacture quality ceramic cores operating Low Pressure Injection Machines.
- Produce quantities within set standards of each part number, identify core defects and maintain accurate records (routing / job cards, etc.).
- Must assist Engineers, Quality and Manufacturing as needed.
- Must follow and adhere to all safety procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by supervision.
Required Skills :
- Must be detail oriented and well organized.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be self-directed to accomplish goals with minimal supervision.
Experience & Education
- Operator needs to be able to comprehend and read procedures.
- Mold or plastic injection experience preferred.
