What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Installation Crew Member position at Vector Technical, Inc.?
Vector's client designs, builds, and installs custom awning, canopy and curtain solutions. They are looking for hard-working individuals to join their Installation Crew in the Cleveland area.
20 / hr., depending upon skills and experience
Mon-Fri 7 : 30a-4p with Overtime potential
The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry, construction, or other installation positions. If you are a detail-oriented
individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for quality craftsmanship, we want to hear from you. Truck and Tools provided.
Experience is a plus, but with the right attitude, we offer training. The successful candidates will work with our installation teams to
install custom awning and shade products mainly in Northeast Ohio.
Responsibilities
Provide clients with a superior level of service with a positive attitude
Acquire and maintain expert-level knowledge of our products
Accurately read and understand a tape measure, ensuring locations are correct
Understand building design and methods to properly mount to a structure
Drive and maneuver truck and up to a 30ft trailer
Work well with others to get the project done and follow all safety procedures
Traits and Qualifications
High aptitude for prioritization, organization, and self-direction
Experience-in-reading and understanding architectural plans
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on clarity and precision
Ability to thrive in a highly independent role
Sense of humor
Retention of product training and information given once or in small bursts
Construction, carpentry, or other trade experience
Comfort on a construction site, ability to work with other trades
Experience with hand and power tools
Ability to climb ladders (most awnings are not at ground level)
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
