Vector Technical Inc. has partnered with a Mentor, OH leading manufacturer of automation systems. They are looking for the right person to join their team as a Secondary Machine and Weld Operator !
1st Shift
Pay is dependent upon experience, $19 - $22 / hr. to start
This is a full time position (40 hours) with OT eligible.
Job Summary :
This is an opportunity to train and learn while also working production.
Run production as needed, and start learning the following skills along the way :
Operate press brake & shear
Fabricate pins for belts
Setups - Read and interpret blueprints, templates and layouts to determine machining operation to be performed.
Adjustments - Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges and micrometers
Troubleshooting / Debugging programs
Moves between production assignments that utilize multiple skills endorsements as needed to support production requirements.
Secondary Machine Apprentice Requirements :
CNC experience helpful but not necessary
Welding skills would be an asset
Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
Ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds (unassisted)
Regularly required to stand for prolonged periods.
