Vector Technical's partner is an equipment manufacturer in the mobile food service industry. They are looking for the right person to fill their open Clean and Pack position.
1st Shift 5 : 50a - 2 : 30p
19 / hr. to start
Raise once hired into the union.
32 hrs. of vacation available once hired into the union.
This job involves preparing product for packaging, including shrink-wrapping and other methods of preventative damage, inspecting and cleaning of sheet metal products, labeling, using hand tools and ensuring quality standards. Responsibilities include visual inspections, drilling, buffing welds, and packing products.
Key Requirements :
Mechanically inclined.
Ability to read manufacturing documents and instructions.
Physical strength to lift 60 lbs. regularly.
Basic shop math skills.
Experience with pneumatic tools and machinery.
Hand dexterity, with the ability to stand and bend for 8 hrs.
Attention to detail for paperwork and meeting production goals. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, preparing and packaging products, and have experience with hand and power tools.
