What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping position at Vector Technical, Inc.?
Vector Technical's partner is a privately held Heat Treat company in Willoughby, Ohio, seeking the right candidate to fill their Shipping position.
Available Shifts :
3rd Shift - $19 / hr. $1.10 shift diff = $20.10 / hr.
While your shift hours will stay the same, you must be open to a flex week and weekend days, depending upon truck delivery schedule.
- base rates increase to $19.65 once fully trained.
2nd & 3rd SHIFTS MUST BE ABLE TO TRAIN ON 1st SHIFT
Key Responsibilities :
Transport parts to the staging area for production using equipment such as forklifts, hoists or pallet jacks.
Load and unload trucks and vans, handle incoming inspection (i.e. weight, counts, and paperwork), and move parts to staging areas in the plant.
Able to handle all tasks without supervision when training is complete.
Ensure that all shipping activities are conducted in a safe manner.
Verify part numbers and match to shipping documents and work orders.
Operate various equipment in the plant.
Communicate production problems to a supervisor and / or operator.
Maintain good housekeeping practices and keep work area orderly.
Perform repetitive and detail oriented tasks.
Requirements :
High School Diploma or GED
Attendance is essential for success.
