Shipping Associate 2nd Shift

Shipping Associate:

• 2nd Shift: 4 pm - 2:30 am M-TH

Major Areas of Responsibility:

• Operate power industrial trucks if needed and computers
• Responsible for receiving product from outside vendors and production lines
• Responsible for quality control. Reject product outside of specifications
• Load trailers and distribution routes in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate finished good inventory
• Operate within Vector Work Instructions (VWIs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
• Clean and maintain work area
• Other duties as assigned

• 2 wheeled carts
• 4 wheeled carts
• Forklift
• Motorized palate jack
• Manual wheel palate jack
• Electric scissor lift

Critical Physical Demands:

• Work shift 8-12 hours

• Walking-Continuously, to and from production lines and wheeled carts

• 2 Hand Carry-Occasionally, assisting in moving finished product from production line into truck trailers for shipping 2 person lifts up to 160lbs (80lbs per individuals) < 10ft
• Floor to waist lift- Occasionally, lifting 50lbs roll of glass weather stripping from floor to 2ft as required in the glass production line
• Horizontal lift-Rarely
• Waist to crown lift-Frequently, loading windows into trailer
• R and L hand carry-Rarely
• Twist-Occasionally, moving finished product within truck trailer
• Squat-Rarely
• Kneel-Rarely
• Crawl-Rarely
• Stair climb-Rarely
• Step ladder climb-Occasionally, use of ladder to access and place product
• Balance-Frequently, control of 2 wheeled cart in moving finished windows to truck loading area
• Push/pull-Occasionally, pulling 2 and 4 wheeled carts up to 50lbs pull/push moving finished widows to loading area
• Crouch-Rarely
• Reach above shoulder-Frequently, < 10lbs

• Firm grasp-Continuously, grip to secure finished products in transit to loading areas
