Job Description

The Procurement and Contract Expert is responsible for overseeing the procurement and contract administration processes at VectorCSP. This includes negotiating and administering contracts, task orders, and subsequent amendments consistent with client requirements, government regulations, and procurement policies and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Reviews solicitation requests and proposal volumes to proactively identify and mitigate risk areas and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
  2. Collaborates with business development and proposal teams to support the preparation and submission of proposals, ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements.
  3. Drafts, reviews, and negotiates non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, consulting agreements, contracts, and subcontracts, from proposal stage to project close out, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  4. Administers a portfolio of contracts through negotiation, correspondence, documentation, certification, financial reporting, and product delivery.

Requirements:

  • At least six years' experience in contract administration, specifically with federal government contracts and subcontracts involving all contract types (Fixed Price, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, and T&M).
  • In-depth knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR, DFARS) and government contracting principles.
  • Strong background in contract negotiation, administration, teaming agreements, consulting agreements, subcontracts, contract compliance, and other corporate legal documents.
