Job Overview

This Senior Contract Specialist position plays a critical role in the procurement and contract administration processes at VectorCSP. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in federal government contracts, including experience with contract negotiation, administration, teaming agreements, consulting agreements, subcontracts, and contract compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review solicitation requests and proposal volumes to identify and mitigate risk areas and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate with business development and proposal teams to support the preparation and submission of proposals, ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, consulting agreements, contracts, and subcontracts from proposal stage to project close-out, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Administer a portfolio of contracts through negotiation, correspondence, documentation, certification, financial reporting, and product delivery.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned contracts, including FAR, DFARS, and applicable Agency Supplements.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and excellent communication skills to independently correspond verbally and in writing to company and customer leadership.
  • Able to think and operate strategically and tactically, operating in a fast-paced, timeline-driven environment with competing priorities.
