This role supports the daily treasury activities to include banking, journal entries, cash requirements forecasting, etc.
Responsibilities
- Support daily cash process. Provide comprehensive support to the cash management function which includes preparing the daily cash position, daily cash requirements reporting, executing wire transfers, intercompany transfers, and monitoring bank accounts and signatories.
- Collect cash flow projections and prepare consolidated cash flow projections.
- Monitoring collections and disbursements, and reporting related accounting information.
- Manage bank account administration and ensure integrity of bank account data an compliance with company’s bank account policy.
- Knowledge of stand by letters of credit.
- Knowledge of data requirements for the transfer of payable data to the financial institutions for international and domestic transactions.
- Support best in class finance / treasury initiatives.
- Support SOX testing, internal and external audit requirements.
- Compare balances to budgets and forecasts and explain variance.
- Performs other duties and assignments as required.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum six (6) years related experience with Bachelor's; otherwise minimum two (2) years with Master's degree.
- Corporate Cash Management and/or Treasury experience.
- Other Requirements:
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred.
- Skills & Technology Used:
- Developed interpersonal verbal and written and communications skills.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Personal computer, printer, copy machine and other general office equipment.
- Proficient in the use of computers and computer software programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
