Responsibilities
- What You'll Do:
- The H-60 Readiness Cell support will collect data and provide recommendations related to the sustainment, improvement, support, and maintenance of aircraft weapon systems and related support equipment. This position will collect data from the MH-60R Royal Australian Navy program office and provide inputs to the Naval Sustainment System-Aviation (NSS-A), and its Readiness Control Board (RCB).
- Will collect data from the MH-60R Royal Australian Navy (RAN) program office and provide recommendations to support the USN and RAN goals for aircraft mission availability. Coordinate with Maintenance Operation Center/Aircraft-on-Ground (MOC/AOG); O-level: Fleet Readiness Center (FRC); Supply Chain; Engineering and Maintenance; Governance, Accountability and Organization; and Cost.
- Direct support to The Readiness Cell Subject Matter Experts to assist in analyzing degraders to generate maintenance practice improvements, reliability improvements, cost reductions, maintenance man-hour reductions root cause and corrective actions to boost readiness in the USN and RAN fleets. Perform trend and analysis of available data sets to identify variation drivers [e.g., Bad Actor aircraft by BUNO and system, WRA by Serial Number, and Built-in-Test (BIT) diagnostic signal or Condition Indicator (CI) by system from the aircraft on-board health monitoring system (HMS).
- Support PMA-299 and the PMA-299 Fleet Support Teams (FSTs) by coordinating and providing:
- Technical tasks in support of PMA-299 in coordination with NAE Readiness Standards as required for readiness issues that are related to the aircraft.
- Data for Life Cycle Cost, Could Not Duplicate (CND) Maintenance Actions, Aviation Depot Level Repairable (AVDLR) costs, Cannibalization rates, High Maintenance Man-Hours and High Demand rates.
- BUNO and system level readiness charts.
- Data analysis utilizing BIT and/or 3M data, identifying system reliability, WRA consumption rate and maintenance actions.
- Provide cost avoidance metrics. When directed by PMA-299 FMS, work with AIR 6.8 CBM or other resources for research in maturing current Automated Maintenance Environment (AME).
- Support the maintenance and logistic management of the sustainment of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) MH-60R aircraft and associated weapons systems.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Expert-level use of Microsoft Professional Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, and Power Point.
- Working knowledge/experience of Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activity (OOMA) / Naval Aviation Logistics Command Maintenance Information System.
- (NALCOMIS), JDRS, NATEC, DECKPLATE, VECTOR and Tableau AMDB IT Systems; Knowledge of sustainment data analysis and reporting of meaningful/relevant findings.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Education:
- A Bachelors Degree required in related field.
- Allowable substitutions:
- Associate Degree and 4 years of experience in related field may be substituted.
- Masters Degree and at least 4 years of experience in related field may be substituted.

- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 to 10 years' of direct experience in MH-60R Readiness.
- Experience with NAVAIR, PMA-299, H-60 aircraft weapon systems.
- Other Requirements:
- Secret Security Clearance required.
- U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data system.
