This Lab Equipment Technician position supports Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) B Department – Electromagnetic and Sensor Systems.
Responsibilities
- To provide on-site support and management of government labs and lab equipment.
- Track and report inventory of Government owned test equipment.
- Facilitate check-in and check-out of equipment.
- Conduct shipping and receiving functions.
- Track and manage calibration of test equipment to ensure calibrations are kept up to date.
- Perform basic upkeep of test equipment.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualification:
- Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience:
- 5 years of experience as an engineering technician in a laboratory and field test environment
- 3 years of experience operating, maintaining, configuring, and calibrating Radio Frequency (RF) test equipment.
- Experience conducting physical inventories and maintaining inventory records.
- Experience managing calibration schedules for test equipment.
- Skills & Technology Used:
- Knowledge of basic operation and upkeep of RF test equipment
- Experience using Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel

- $55,000 – 95,000
- The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation for locations in the Dahlgren, VA area.
