Solution Design

  • Architect scalable, secure, and cost-efficient Snowflake-based solutions.
  • Design data models (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema) optimized for analytics.
  • Plan the migration of legacy systems to Snowflake.

Data Integration

  • Define ETL / ELT workflows to ingest data from various sources into Snowflake.
  • Work with tools like Talend, Informatica, dbt, Fivetran, or Apache Airflow.

    • Performance Optimization

  • Optimize query performance by tuning Snowflake warehouses, indexes, and partitions.
  • Manage clustering, caching, and materialized views.

    • Security & Compliance

  • Implement security best practices : role-based access control (RBAC), data masking, encryption, and governance frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).

    • Collaboration

  • Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cloud teams (AWS, Azure, GCP) to integrate Snowflake with cloud-native tools.

    • Monitoring and Maintenance

  • Set up monitoring tools for performance and usage tracking.
  • Automate housekeeping tasks like archiving or purging old data.
