What are the responsibilities and job description for the SAP Test Automation SME position at Vedasoft Inc?
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of SAP test automation strategies.
- Document requirements for creating comprehensive automation test suites covering SAP Wholesale Supply Chain and integrations.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for SAP modules and surrounding applications (Retail, Ecommerce, WMS, Product Creation).
- Work closely with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective automation test cases.
- Identify and implement best practices for SAP test automation.
- Ensure test automation frameworks align with industry standards and organizational goals.
- Provide expertise in SAP functional and regression testing to optimize automation coverage.
- Analyze test results, report defects, and collaborate with developers for issue resolution.
- Support end-to-end testing efforts across various SAP integrations.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 15 years of overall experience in SAP testing, automation, and quality assurance.
- Extensive experience in SAP test automation, specifically within Wholesale Supply Chain.
- Strong expertise in SAP modules and functionalities, particularly in Supply Chain Management (SCM).
- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and integration with third-party applications.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Worksoft Certify, Tricentis Tosca, Selenium, UFT, or similar.
- Experience with API testing and integration validation for on-prem and cloud-based applications.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools for automated test execution.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills to articulate test automation strategies.
