Job Summary:
As a Social Media Lead at Vee International, you will be a key driver in shaping and executing our social media strategy to amplify brand visibility, foster engagement, and drive growth. This role demands a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and data-driven analysis to craft compelling content and impactful campaigns. You will oversee a diverse range of social media platforms, lead in-house and offshore teams, and contribute to broader marketing goals. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Vee International’s brand values and business objectives.
- Set clear objectives, KPIs, and goals for each campaign, ensuring they drive engagement and conversions.
- Lead the Social Media Activation Plan, integrating educational content, humor, inclusivity, and sustainability.
Content Creation & Management:
- Design and produce high-quality, engaging content tailored for various social media platforms, including posts, images, videos, and infographics.
- Ensure consistency in brand voice and style across all content, staying current with industry trends and audience preferences.
- Manage a content calendar to ensure timely and relevant posts, including educational and interactive content.
Audience Engagement & Community Management:
- Cultivate a vibrant online community by engaging with followers through comments, messages, and mentions.
- Proactively manage interactions to enhance brand reputation and build lasting relationships with the audience.
- Conduct interactive sessions, Q&As, and polls to increase follower engagement and gather valuable feedback.
Advertising & Campaign Optimization:
- Plan and execute targeted social media advertising campaigns to reach specific demographics and drive measurable results.
- Continuously optimize ad performance based on analytics and feedback to maximize ROI and engagement.
Analytics, Reporting & Insights:
- Monitor social media performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and others.
- Generate comprehensive reports, analyze data, and provide actionable recommendations to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
Competitive Analysis & Market Trends:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging social media platforms.
- Leverage insights to adapt and innovate social media strategies, maintaining a competitive edge.
Collaboration & Coordination:
- Oversee and direct the Creative Content Designer & Coordinator and Community Manager, providing direction, running meetings, and reviewing deliverables.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment with overall marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Coordinate with in-house and offshore staff, as well as service agencies, to execute social media plans effectively.
- Ensure a seamless workflow between content creation, approval, and publication.
Professional Presentation:
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance to meet ‘trend-tastic’ and urgent video production needs in-house.
- Ensure all public-facing content reflects a high standard of professionalism and brand integrity.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in a social media leadership role, preferably within a relevant industry or sector.
- Expertise in social media platforms, trends, and best practices, with hands-on experience in content management and creation.
- Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools, including Jira and Hootsuite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a creative approach to content creation.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions based on insights.
- Experience with social media advertising platforms and techniques.
- Proven ability to manage and coordinate with offshore teams and service agencies effectively.
