What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Administrator position at Vee-Jay Cement Contracting Company Inc.?
Responsibilities :
Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to;
- Assist with the preparation, distribution, tracking and filing of paperwork, including but not limited to; contracts, subcontracts, change orders, insurance certificates, legal notices, warranties and project close-out documents.
- Manage billing for Project Managers' jobs.
- Responsible for contract recordkeeping; mailing executed contract copies along with any additional documentation required for payment / project / bid.
- Assist with compiling new construction projects and pricing changes in scope of work for on-going construction activities, review counterpart's project bids for errors and omissions.
- Responsible for logging proposals and jobs in databases and accounting software, as needed.
- Assist with the development / refinement / implementation of process improvements.
- Handle all event tickets and promotions for employees and clients.
- Communicate on-going changes / addendums for all bids to PM's as they occur.
- Crosstrain within department on all related tasks and responsibilities, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications :
Education : High School diploma or equivalent; prefer some College.
Experience : (2) years of experience in a construction-related industry preferred.
