As a Pre-Sales Inside Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales initiatives by focusing on our mid-market Commercial accounts. Your deep technical expertise and strategic insight will enable you to understand complex customer needs, craft tailored solutions, and effectively communicate the value of our offerings to key decision-makers. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, technically competent Veeam Inside Systems Engineer with the ability to partner with other groups within Veeam to close sales. The role requires strengths and a background in defining architectural strategies to guide customers toward adopting Veeam technologies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct compelling virtual and in-person product demonstrations and presentations tailored for varying numbers and levels of decision makers including C-level audiences, clearly articulating how our solutions can drive business transformation and deliver measurable value
- Implement and manage POCs to technical closure
- Support lead generation activities such as events, webinars, user groups, etc.
- Collaborate with the customer / partner to establish and translate business objectives into technical requirements
- Independently consult with customer base to provide technical expertise on data resiliency
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to position our offerings effectively against competitors in discussions with varying levels of decision makers
- Work closely with the sales department to secure new partners and customers
- Work closely with Product Management to provide customer feedback
- Provide pre-sales support to customers as they evaluate Veeam software

The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate's expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.
