We're looking for a data scientist who knows how to make text data understandable and impactful. This role is about uncovering insights not just building models and communicating them clearly.
Note: Not looking for banking or healthcare only domains expertise. Must have worked for Product Based Companies or FAANG OR MAANG.
Pay Rate: W2 (No Benefits), C2C (Not open for Relocation candidates Looking for Locals Only in CA or TX)
Location: Sunnyvale, CA OR Elk Grove, CA, OR Austin TX
They need:
- Overall 10 years of working experience in IT and 5 years of hands-on experience using Python for text analysis and NLP
- Strong skills in data visualization (Tableau is preferred; Python is ok)
- Familiarity with SQL is a plus
In this role, they will:
- Analyze and interpret text data using NLP techniques
- Focus on generating insights that humans not just algorithms can use
- Build visualizations that clearly communicate patterns and findings
- Collaborate with stakeholders to present insights in engaging interpretable ways
