Success as an Electrical Technician is being able to achieve the following expectations:

- Provide the assigned regional customers quotes for customer products as well as develop solutions to solve their business issues
- Work directly with customers as well as the regional team to develop a solution for their business needs
- Collaborate with the electrical team to ensure the overall function and design for the customer is satisfied
- Oversee validation of systems generated to ensure that the upfit can be installed at the installation facility
- Identify OEM vehicle options that would affect customer electrical products
- Research and maintain understanding of new electrical architecture changes within fleet vehicles that affect customer electrical products
- Work with dealerships, installers, distributors, and customers regarding product issues
- Must present a professional and pleasant demeanor with customers
- Ensure documentation related to electrical team projects is filed at the appropriate time
- Become commodity expert within the electrical department (be the “goto” expert for certain customer products)
- Work with the Customer Care specialist to make technical decisions, recommendations, and corrective solutions for issues in the field
- Possible travel for field service, hands on troubleshooting, and assisting with installer concerns
- Drive continuous improvement and corrective action with electrical products

Education required for this role:
- Two-year Electrical Engineering Technology degree, or equivalent on the job experience
- Experience with aftermarket vehicle systems (preferred not required)
- Familiarity with technical products and documents
- Working understanding of Microsoft Office
- 3D CAD/ SolidWorks is a plus
Additional Requirements:
Must meet and maintain all requirements to be a “Driver”
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
