Vega Consulting Solutions is Hiring! Technical Policy Writer - for a 6-month contract opportunity. Only Candidates with Healthcare tech writing experience will be considered for this 100% remote-based position.
Job Description:
Responsible for the design, writing, editing, and re-writing of policy documents, procedures, and related publications to communicate instructions to a wide range of audiences while adhering to standards for clarity, quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style. Acquires or verifies knowledge of subject matter by interviewing workers or IT/cybersecurity experts, observing performance methods, and/or referring to technical or regulatory documentation.
- MUST HAVE WORK EXPEERIENCE working with common cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST, HIPAA, SOC, etc.
- Ability to grasp technical concepts and effectively convey information to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficient ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in small teams is necessary and be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a team player, use professional judgment, and support organizational and departmental goals.
- Must demonstrate initiative and work well independently as well as a contributing member of a team.
- Should be well organized and detail-oriented.
