Job Description:

We are seeking a Network Analyst to support the technical operations of a high-performance, real-time trading infrastructure within a fast-paced financial technology environment. This is a critical role in ensuring the availability, security, and performance of production networking systems and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor the production trading network infrastructure in a mission-critical, low-latency environment.

• Build and manage network monitoring tools; customize vendor solutions for optimal network performance visibility.

• Perform packet capture, network data analysis, and latency troubleshooting to support trading operations.

• Collaborate with network engineers, systems teams, and software developers to resolve network issues.

• Support change management, fallback planning, and business continuity testing.

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, Multicast, SNMP, and packet capture tools (e.g., Wireshark).

• Hands-on experience with network monitoring solutions (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG).

• Strong knowledge of Linux command line interface and Linux networking stack.

• Proficiency in command line configuration of network devices.

• Experience with latency analysis and real-time systems troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with financial protocols such as FIX, OPRA, CTS is a plus.

• Experience with TAP aggregation solutions is a plus.

• Scripting experience (e.g., Python, Perl, Shell) for automation is beneficial.

• NOC or customer support experience in a financial or trading systems environment.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

• 2 years in network operations or engineering, preferably in a financial services or real-time trading environment.
