What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiometric Logistics Specialist position at vegaamericasinternalapplications?
We are currently searching for a Radiometric Logistics Specialist to join our growing team!
What you’ll do:
- Attend IATA and DOT Certification of Radioactive Materials Shipments course.
- Manage the lifecycle of international radiometric projects.
- Contact customers and forwarders for shipping instructions; arrange transit times and pick-ups.
- Prepare export documentation for international radiometric orders.
- Prepare freight quotes as needed.
- Communicate milestone dates such as import license expiration dates, and production and packing end dates.
- Maintain dangerous goods regulations books.
- Verify customer license type and license in place prior to shipment (work with customer RSO).
- Manage reports associated with Radiometric shipments.
- Verify that the shipping address matches the one on the license.
- Communication order has shipped with documentation for domestic.
What you'll need:
- One year certificate from a College or Technical school
- AND three to six months related experience.
- OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
