Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ServiceNow Technical Consultant with exceptional scripting and Configuration Management Technology (CMT) capabilities to join our team in Plano, TX. This role is critical in implementing, customizing, and optimizing ServiceNow solutions for our clients to enhance operational efficiency and transform IT service management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions aligned with client business requirements and ITIL best practices
• Create and customize advanced workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and UI actions using JavaScript
• Develop technical specifications and solution designs for ServiceNow implementations
• Configure and customize ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITAM, CSM, and CMDB
• Implement and optimize Configuration Management systems within ServiceNow
• Integrate ServiceNow with third-party applications and systems using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and other integration technologies
• Conduct requirements gathering workshops and translate business needs into technical solutions
• Develop custom applications on the ServiceNow platform using Application Developer capabilities
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all configurations and customizations
• Mentor junior consultants and provide knowledge transfer to client teams
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and implement optimal solutions
• Stay current with ServiceNow platform updates and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow scripting using JavaScript, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, and Scheduled Scripts
• Expert knowledge of ServiceNow Configuration Management Technology (CMT) and CMDB implementation
• 5 years of experience implementing and customizing ServiceNow solutions
• ServiceNow certifications: System Administrator and at least one of the following: Application Developer, Implementation Specialist, or ITSM Professional
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices
• Experience with ServiceNow application development and customization
• Proficiency in web technologies including HTML, CSS, AngularJS, Bootstrap, and REST/SOAP web services
• Experience with data migration, integration, and workflow implementation
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional ServiceNow certifications such as CMDB Implementation Specialist or Application Developer
• Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and Orchestration
• Knowledge of IT Asset Management and Software Asset Management processes
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Knowledge of database concepts and SQL
• Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and reporting
• Experience with ServiceNow upgrade projects
