What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekends Only Vehicle Transporter position at Vehi-Ship LLC?
Driver Job Summary:
The management team at Vehi-Ship, LLC offers over 75 years of combined vehicle shipping and logistic experience. We are looking for drivers to join our team and help fulfill our need with Ford where we shuttle new vehicles from the assembly plant to the local rail yards. Starting pay is $13.50 per car. We deliver 10 cars per day max based on inventory.
You would be meeting in Markham everyday that you work!

Driver Qualifications and Duties include:
- Ability to work part time Saturday-Sunday
- Shifts start at 6AM with NO SET END TIME (shift ends when required amount of cars are delivered)
- Weekdays for extra work are optional for part time drivers
- Locating, inspecting, and documenting any damages to vehicles
- Driving vehicles safely to rail yards and completing final inspection
Driver Requirements:
- MUST have a clean motor vehicle history and able to pass a MVR check
- Must be at least 23 years old
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work each day.
- Need to be a reliable and safe driver with a positive attitude and good work ethic
- Be able to work and drive in all weather conditions
- Must not have any drug or alcohol convictions within the last 10 years
Driver License:
- MUST have IL or IN state license
- MUST have a 3 year consecutive driving history (no lapse)
- MUST have a clean and VALID drivers license status with less than 3 points
- Must NOT have ANY at fault accidents within the last 3 years
- Must NOT have ANY speeding tickets exceeding 15MPH over the limit within the last 3 years'

Pay: $100.00 - $135.00 per day
