VehicleInspector.Net (VIN) is a regional Vehicle Inspection Company. We provide Professional Vehicle Inspections for National Inspection Companies and Warrantee Companies.

The region we cover includes Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota, parts of Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Montana and Wyoming. We are based in Fargo, ND, with satellite offices in Sioux Falls, SD and Des Moines, IA.

We Inspect and Report on Mechanical damage to cars, trucks, boats, motorcycles, ATVs and RVs. We also provide Lease Turn-in Inspections, Pre-Purchase Inspections, Pre-Warrantee and Physical Damage Inspections. We have extensive technical expertise and experience needed to complete thorough and professional vehicle inspections for the Automotive Warrantee and Mechanical Breakdown Industry.

We work with most National Inspection Companies and have invested in the technology necessary to provide the fastest and most comprehensive service possible. We have inspectors on staff that are Master Certified Vehicle Inspectors and have performed thousands of vehicle inspections.

We are looking for an Inspector to join our team and help ensure that all inspections meet the highest standards of quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting vehicles, taking pictures and filing out reports verifying failures and extent of damage. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a good understanding of automotive technology and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect vehicle mechanical failures as demonstrated by the repair facilities to identify cause of failures and the need for adjustment or repair.
• Inspect vehicles for non-factory alterations and modifications.
• Write reports on inspection findings and recommendations. Photograph details of the inspection and put all information on the designated website.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
