What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician Assistant position at Vein Guys?
Responsibilities:
- Lead clinic staff, in behaviors, actions and attitude (e.g. US Technologists, MA's, Nurses, and Front Office Specialists) in delivering excellent patient care
- Perform initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations
- Update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment
- Analyze test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further
- Serve as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, counseling and provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions
- Order, perform, or interpret the results of diagnostic tests, as well as responsibly prescribe medications and educate patients on continued treatment and care of acute and chronic conditions
- Assists with the provision of surgical care in accordance with facility, state, and federal regulations.
- Physician Assistant license (Required).
- 2 years' Physician Assistant experience with a valid physician assistant license.
- Prior healthcare experience.
