The Medical Sonographer at National VIP plays a pivotal role in supporting our Vein practice across our Bethesda and Bowie locations in Maryland.

Location Note: The ideal candidate will initially be based between our Maryland locations locations for training purposes. However, location assignment will be based on the candidate's residential location but not limited to that specific area.

What you'll do...
- Perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans, rule out DVT scans, and post procedure scans.
- Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography exams in accordance with patient safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Medical intakes.
- Enter medical notes in our EMR system.
- Use sterile technique for procedure set up and prep patients for procedures.
- Assist during procedures.
- Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA.
- Properly care for Ultrasound equipment and notifies the office if there are any issues.
- Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with co-workers and members of the health care team.
You should have...
- Associates degree in Medical Sonography.
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Medical Sonography.
- EMR systems.
- Lower extremity/ vascular preferred.
- Certification: Certified Medical Sonographer.
- RVT or CCI preferred.
